Monterey Chamber Singers

The Monterey Chamber Singers was born as an organization. We now have organized a daytime group for singers and a nighttime group for our more advanced singers. Because we feel singing is a crucial community need, we are singing both virtually and in person, in accordance with Monterey County Health Department guidelines. In this way our singing voices are maintained and as our membership continues to grow–now at approximately 25 persons–MPC may quickly and easily resume choral classes when the situation allows as many community singers told us they would join us as soon as the pandemic is over.

Broadway Singers’ Masks

Singers are wearing singers’ masks, either Resonance or Broadway or other mask made specifically for singers.

In Gratitude

We are profoundly grateful to several donors who came forward to support us financially – thank you for believing in us! We are also happy to see a number of more recent and younger singers join our groups. They are the future of choral singing on Monterey Peninsula, and will be with us for decades to come. 

Note from Our Director

As we make plans for the future, we would like to offer you the positive experiences that our community has known – concerts at the Mission, and assuming that we’ll continue to grow, European tours. While our face to face choirs are full, we are open to adding a 3rd group soon. Our virtual groups are unlimited. Join us!
